There’s plenty to do in this small town on the Gulf of Mexico, like boating, wildlife watching and eating at unpretentious restaurants. Yet the area is still, for the most part, refreshingly free of over development. The beaches have gently lapping waves that won’t topple little ones, with sand that’s the color and texture of granulated sugar.
